Keeping Your Kids Still In Church - Printable Bible Quizzes And Quiet Book Patterns
It can be tough to go to church on Sunday, especially when you feel it's useless since you spend the whole time disciplining your child anyway. But it's important to keep it it, because if you keep avoiding places because you feel your children won't be disciplined, then they'll never get to practice discipline.
So your best bet, is to face church head on with a plan - or two. And these plans include tools such as printable bible quizzes and quiet book patterns for babies and toddlers.
Printable bible quizzes for kids can be a great tood for your child to learn the word of God along with you. Just choose a quiz that is catered to the week's sermon, and have your child try to do it on their own during mass. Then, after mass, you can stick around in the pews to go over his or her answers, and discuss what the right answer is, based on what you learned in church. It can also be a fun way for your child to quiz you for once. It might be fun for them to stump you!
Quiet book patterns are better for younger children that do not know how to read. All you do is sew a smaller, pillow-like but thinner pattern. Then you sew a line along the middle, and lots of cloth interactive objects along the pages. This will be a way for your child to "read" a.k.a. feel the book's objects and keep the entertained during church.
Keep at it with these types of activities, and your children will be disciplined over time.
